This year the Club's 11th Annual Awards Dinner was held at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness. Colleagues and friends met for a superb evening of entertainment, including an internationally renowned speaker, John Simonett, and an outstanding cabaret act, the Three Tenors.
The Annual Awards Dinner is an ideal opportunity to showcase you and your business by nominating yourself for one of the Club's Annual Awards. The prize winners each receive a cheque for £500 as well as free publicity for themselves and their business. Alternatively, you can nominate someone you feel is a suitable candidate for an award by scanning the list of members on the HBWC website. Application forms for the 2008 Awards will be available later this year.
The winner of the Most Enterprising Business category goes forward as the Club's nomination for the Most Enterprising Business Award at the Association of Scottish Businesswomen Awards Dinner to be held later in the year. The 2006 winner, Jacquie Edwards, also went on to make an appearance on the Dragon's Den Programme on BBC2.
There are no restrictions with regard to nominees in previous years (including previous winners) putting themselves forward for this year's Awards. Everyone is a potential winner.
